Lazio win the Serie A Week 35 game in extremis against Spezia on Saturday 30 April 2022 at the Alberto Picco Stadium in Spezia, Italy. The victory helps Lazio to keep the 6th position battling for a spot in Europe. Lazio have won four of their last six Serie A away games (D1, L1). Spezia for salvation, fifteenth at +10 on the third-last Salernitana (who has a game to catch up), wants to score points to get closer to the mathematical permanence in Serie A. Lazio, however, have not won in three games and are returning from two defeats against Inter and Turin. In the first leg, the second day of the championship, Spezia had lost 6-1 at Lazio.
Spezia opened the score in the 9th minute. Kelvin Amian defeated Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha from very close range with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Petko Hristov.
