✅    Stats before the game: Roma is the team against which Inter have achieved the most victories in their history in Serie A: 75 in 179 matches, 54 draws and 50 Giallorossi victories complete the picture. Inter have remained unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 matches against Roma in the league (W4, D6), the only Giallorossi success in the period however dates back to the first leg on 1 October last. After the success in the first leg, Roma could win both seasonal matches against Inter for the third time in the three points for a win era in Serie A, after 2016/17 (with Luciano Spalletti on the bench) and 1994/95 (with Carlo Mazzone at the helm). Inter have gone unbeaten in their last five away games against Roma in the league (W2 D3), only once have they recorded a longer streak without defeat away from home against the Giallorossi in Serie A: eight matches in a row between 1933 and 1940. Considering the contests between the teams currently in the top seven of the table, Roma are the ones who have obtained the fewest points (nine), scored the fewest goals (nine) and lost the most times (six).
