Atalanta failing big time losing the Serie A Week 33 game against Hellas Verona on Monday 18 April 2022 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy.  The negative and confusing moment continues for the Goddess.  Atalanta further slows down their race towards the Europe League next season and for the first time since Gian Piero Gasperini has been seated on the bench they have lost three games in a row in the league, incredible!

Hellas Verona, getting this important away victory aftere losing against Inter, immediately climbs up the slope showing off an excellent performance. In the next round, Hellas Verona will play at home against Sampdoria while Atalanta will play away against Venezia.

Hellas Verona opened the score before ending the first half in stoppage time. In the 45th minute, Federico Ceccherini defeated Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso from very close range with a headed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by Giovanni Simeone. Referee Marco Piccinini confirmed the goal after a VAR review.

Atalanta shortened the distance in the 82nd minute. The goal by Giorgio Scalvini defeated Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Davide Zappacosta.
