AC Milan and Empoli ended the Serie A Week 29 game with a goalless draw on Friday 7 April 2023 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. With today’s draw, the situation in the standings of the two sides does not change, as they leave the Meazza with one more point each. ✅   Stats before the game: Milan have won their last four Serie A matches against Empoli and have never achieved five consecutive victories against the Tuscans in the top division (including four between 2003 and 2006, with Carlo Ancelotti on the bench).  Empoli’s last clean sheet against Milan in Serie A dates back to 21 October 2007, when the Tuscans prevailed 1-0 at the Meazza thanks to Luca Saudati’s goal – since then the Rossoneri have scored 27 goals in 12 matches, for an average of 2.3 per match.  Empoli have won three of the 29 Serie A matches played against Milan, all three at the Meazza in Milan – the last of these dates back to 23 April 2017, in the challenge on the bench between Giovanni Martusciello and Vincenzo Montella.
