Juventus failed their objective to win the Serie A Week 2 game against Bologna ended with a draw on Sunday 27 August 2023 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy. One team goal in each half in the match in Turin, where Lewis Ferguson’s goal in the first half was answered by Dušan Vlahović’s in the second half.

Simply put, full score mission failed for Juventus who had to settle for a draw which took them to 4 points in the standings, two less than AC Milan, pending the matches in Napoli and Inter. The first point of the championship, on the other hand, is for Bologna, who after the 0-2 draw against Milan moved their standings avoiding the danger of closing the first two days with two defeats.

Bologna got off to a better start in the first half, first touching the lead with Ndoye and then finding it in the 24th minute with Lewis Ferguson, who was good at shooting an assist from Zirkzee’s kiss on goal. Ferguson defeated Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Joshua Zirkzee.

In the second half, Juventus changed gears and would equalize in the 54th minute with Vlahovic, who acrobatically finalized an aerial bank from Bremer, but Di Bello canceled due to active offside from Rabiot.  Juventus continue to press going close to 1-1 with Weah, Bremer and Fagioli, but in the 71st minute they risk conceding the 0-2: Zirkzee shoots from inside the area finding a great reply from Perin and on the rebound Ndoye does not manages to reiterate on goal due to a dubious intervention by Iling-Junior.

In the 80th minute,  Juventus equalized for the 1-1. Forward Dušan Vlahović defeated Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Samuel Iling-Junior.
