Inter with their second consecutive victory win the Serie A Week 2 game defeating Spezia on Saturday 20 August 2022 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy. Lautaro Martínez broke the deadlock in the 35th minute after an assist from Romero Lukaku. Hakan Çalhanoglu doubled in the second half in the 52nd minute. The final blow to grab all 3 points is with the goal by Correa for the 3-0. Inter are unbeaten in all six previous games against Spezia between Serie A and the Italian Cup thanks to five wins and one draw.

In the next round, Inter will play the away game against Lazio, Spezia will play at home against Sassuolo.
