Udinese and Lecce ended the Serie A Week 13 game with a draw on Friday 4 November 2022 at the Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy. Lecce had the lead with Lorenzo Colombo’s goal and Udinese equalized with Beto. Lecce played an excellent game especially in the first fraction missing the doubling, better in terms of goal chances created by Udinese in the second half. Sottil’s team extends the unsuccessful streak to five consecutive days, Baroni’s team wins a point after the two defeats against Juventus and Bologna.

In the next round, Udinese will play the away game against Spezia while Lecce will play at home with Atalanta.

Lecce opened the score in the 33rd minute. Lorenzo Colombo defeated Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri with a right-footed shot to the high center.

Udinese equalized for the 1-1 in the 68th minute. Beto defeated Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone from very close range with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Isaac Success.

✅   Stats before the game: Udinese and Lecce drew only one of the 28 matches played in Serie A, 3.6%: this is the lowest percentage of draws between two teams that have faced each other more than 12 times in the history of the competition – 17 Friulian successes complete the balance sheet and 10 from Puglia.  Udinese have won 11 of the 14 Serie A home games played against Lecce, losing the remaining three – one of these three defeats, however, came on the most recent occasion: 1-2 on 29 July 2020, with the goal of Samir overturned by goals from Mancosu and Lapadula. With the 0-0 against Cremonese, Udinese reached four league games without success: last January the last two straight matches without goals for the Friulians, who have not registered five winless matches since December 2021. Despite the 1-2 defeat against Torino on Matchday 11, Udinese have conceded only five goals so far at home, the best result in the first six Serie A home games for the Friulians since 2011/12 (when they collected only a).
