Torino with a prestigious victory. Torino win the Serie A Week 12 game against AC Milan on Sunday 30 October 2022 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy.  This is a flop for AC Milan losing after 17 away games without a single defeat (W12, D5), stopping the longest open run in the Big-5 European Leagues. Torino climbed from the 10th to the 9th place with 17 points. Milan remained with 26 points, overtaken by Atalanta. In the next round, Milan-Spezia and Bologna-Torino. Torino beat Milan by capitalizing on the two goals by Koffi Djidji and Aleksey Miranchuk gained in the first half of the game. In the second half, Junior Messias shortens the distance for the final 2 to 1.

Torino opened the score in the 35th minute. Koffi Djidji defeated AC Milan goalkeeper with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Valentino Lazaro.

Milan in despair. Torino increased the score in the 37th minute. Aleksey Miranchuk scored with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Nikola Vlasic.

AC Milan shortened the distance in the 67th minute. Junior Messias defeated Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic with a left-footed shot to the top left corner.

✅  Stats before the game: Torino drew (0-0) in their last Serie A match against AC Milan, having collected four defeats without ever scoring a goal in their previous four games against the Rossoneri in the competition. Torino have not scored a Serie A goal against Milan for 464 minutes (excluding recoveries): the last goal scored by the grenade against the Rossoneri in the competition is that of Belotti in the 76th minute of Turin-Milan 2-1 on 26 September 2019 ( date of Torino’s last success against the Lombard team).
