AC Milan win the Serie A Week 10 game defeating Hellas Verona on Sunday 16 October 2022 at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium in Verona, Italy. In the standings, Hellas Verona remain at 5 points with the fifth consecutive defeat while Milan climbed from the 5th to 3rd place with 23 points. In the next round, Milan-Monza and Sassuolo-Verona. Milan conquered the Bentegodi thanks to Sandro Tonali’s decisive goal in the final after the first half ended in a draw, due to the own goal by Miguel Veloso and the goal by Gunter. AC Milan took the lead in the 81st minute. Sandro Tonali defeated Verona goalkeeper Montipò with a left-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Ante Rebić.

✅  Milan have won five of the last seven Serie A matches against Verona (2N) and have found success in the last three matches against the Venetians in chronological order: they have not won four games in a row in the maximum tournament against the Gialloblu since 1978 -1983.   Verona and Milan did not draw at Bentegodi in Serie A even from 1-1 on 17/12/2000 (goals by Emiliano Bonazzoli and Massimo Ambrosini): in the last eight at home to the Venetians, three wins by the hosts and five Rossoneri, including the last three in chronological order. Four consecutive defeats for Verona in the league: the Venetians have not collected five consecutive KOs in Serie A since May 2018 (seven in that case, a season that ended with the relegation of the team then coached by Pecchia). Milan are the only undefeated away team in Serie A in 2022 (in 13 games nine wins and four draws) and one of the three teams – among those present both in the 2021/22 and in the 2022/23 season – unbeaten away from home in the five major European leagues in this calendar year (Barcelona and Manchester City the other two).
