Udinese won the Serie A Week 7 game on Saturday 5 October 2024 at the Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy. In a match that was both intense and well-balanced, Udinese emerged victorious against Lecce with a brilliant free kick from Zemura. Lecce’s attacking strategy, led by Gotti, proved ineffective, as they rarely threatened the organized and sharp Bianconeri defense. This result means another away defeat for the Giallorossi, who couldn’t score, while Udinese gained three vital points.
Udinese have a win percentage higher than 50% against only nine opponents in Serie A and among these, Lecce is the one faced most often: with 18 wins in 32 matches (3D, 11P) the win percentage is 56%.
Next up in Serie A, Udinese will challenge Milan, and Lecce will face Fiorentina.
Here is the situation. Udinese and Lecce have drawn their last two matches on Friulian soil in Serie A, after having won 11 home matches and three away matches in the previous 14 meetings at the home of the Bianconeri.
✅ Stats before the game:
From the 2008/09 season onwards, Lecce is the team that has been faced most often by Udinese among those against whom the Bianconeri have always remained unbeaten in the first half of the season in Serie A: the Friulian team has in fact obtained three wins and three draws in six matches in the period against the Apulians in the first part of the championship.
Udinese have lost by conceding at least three goals in two consecutive Serie A games for the first time since October 2019 and have only twice had three consecutive games in the competition (1957 and 2014) – however, the Bianconeri have won three of their first six games of this campaign and have only done better in their first seven on six occasions (most recently in 2022/23 with five wins).

Udinese lost their last home league game, having won their previous two; the Bianconeri have therefore won two of their last three Serie A home games, as many as in their previous 23 (D12 L9).
Lecce have failed to score in their last four away games in Serie A and have only done worse on two occasions, in 1990 (six consecutive away games without a goal in that case) and 2005 (five).
Lecce have the worst conversion rate in Serie A 2024/25 (3%): with 98 shots taken (second best in the league after Roma), only three goals scored (worst attack in the tournament).
Stats about players
Lorenzo Lucca has scored three goals in his last five Serie A appearances, as many as in his previous 22 – the Udinese striker has already scored against Lecce in the top flight, in the 2-0 win on May 13.
Nikola Krstrovic, who has scored his last two goals in Serie A in home games, has not scored away since May 5 against Cagliari, which was also his team’s last away goal in the competition.
Kialonda Gaspar is the second defender in the league for duels won (43, behind only Yerri Mina with 48), second for aerial duels won (27, behind only Rrhamani with 30) and third for defensive headed clearances (18, behind Ismajli with 31 and Udinese’s Jaka Bijol with 20).
