Torino 2 – 1 Juventus
45′ Matteo Darmian 35′ Andrea Pirlo
57′ Fabio Quagliarella
A historical victory for Torino winning the Derby della Mole keeping the bragging rights to rule the City of Turin after defeating Juventus. Torino waited 20 years and 17 days to win the Derby since April 1995. The hero of the Derby is the ex Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella delighting his fans by scoring the winner goal in the 57th minute.
Juventus will have to wait another week to celebrate the Scudetto, mathematically speaking. Juventus with a +14 points ahead of Lazio holding the second position with 59 points and only 6 more games to go with 18 available points. Sour note is the violent attack with fans throwing rocks, bottles and fireworks to Juventus pullman when arriving at the Stadium resulting with a broken window. During the match another violent act inside the stadium when Juventus fans threw fireworks toward Torino fans section injuring fans.
Things started well for Juventus when midfielder Andrea Pirlo opened the score in the 35th minute with a right footed shot free kick defeating Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli in the top right corner. Beautiful goal.
A turning point just before ending teh first half. Torino equalizing in the 45th minute with Matteo Darmian unmarked defeating Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by forward Fabio Quagliarella.
You bet Torino coach Giampiero Ventura must have delivered a super motivated pep talk during half time. Torino never backed down and fans kept motivating the team with their support.
The moment of joy and party for TORO…. In the 57th minute, ba ba ba BOOOOOMMMMMMMMM The action started by Darmian with a fast run making his way to pass to forward Quagliarella who had the time to accommodate and then defeating goalkeeper Buffon with a right footed shot in the center!!!!! What a shock for Juventus fans, but what a joy for Torino fans.

Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon had to bow down in front of his ex teammate Fabio Quagliarella…. immediate celebration
