Brilliant day for Sassuolo delighting their fans with  super forward Domenico Berardi scoring a hat-trick against AC Milan.   A different story is for Milan suffering a defeat and swallowing the sour reality that they won’t be in any European competition next year. Making matters worst, Milan punished again by the same Verdugo from last season:  Berardi who had scored 4 goals last season against Milan and 3 this season and all at the Mapei Stadium!

Game starting with controversy as Milan protest for a “ghost goal.”  Here is the situation.  In the 14th minute a shot by Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi with a left footed shot surprising AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez and a mistake  punishing Lopez because he is unable to save. Milan arguing the ball did not go thru considering a ghost goal…

In the 31st minute, another dagger and again by Berardi defeating Lopez with a left footed shot inthe bottom left corner. It must be a headache for Lopez while Sassuolo fans acclaim Berardi.

AC Milan shortening the distance in the 33rd minute with midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura defeating Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli with a right footed shot in the center. The assist is by defender Ignazio Abate.

In the 51st minute Milan equalizing for the 2-2 following a corner conceded by Sassuolo defender Paolo Cannavaro. It is defender Alex defeating goalkeeper Consigli with a headed sot in the center.

Things complicating for Milan in the 57th minute as Referee Guida gives a red card to Bonaventura for a handball after getting a second yellow card. Milan now playing with 10 players for the last 30 minutes.

The final slap to humiliate Milan arriving in the 77th minute and guess who scored the winner goal? Yep, you got it… it is Berardi with a left footed shot!!!! Incredible so, the party at the Mapei is all for Berardi proving to be Milan’s nightmare.

Tension until the last minute and there you go… in the 90th minute Referee Guida giving a straight red card to Milan forward Suso.
