It’s a much needed victory for AC Milan on their quest to arrive towards the top 5 position. Milan defeating Palermo at the Renzo Barbera Stadium. It’s a double joy for the Rossoneri because forward Alessio Cerci scored his first goal as a Milan player after his transfer from Atletico Madrid. Hero of the match is the most valuable player this season for Milan: Forward Jeremy Menez scoring the winner goal in the 83rd minute. Another highlight is defender Philippe Mexes playing his 100th game with AC Milan.
Milan winning their 3rd away game encouraging the team and fans. For Palermo, the goal is by forward Paulo Dybala converting a penalty.
It is AC Milan to open the score in the 37th minute silencing the Barbera Stadium! Forward Alessio Cerci defeating Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. Special joy for Cerci because he scored not only the opening goal, but also his first goal for Milan. Party time among rossoneri players.
Things complicated for Milan in the 71st minute. Referee Doveri giving a penalty to Palermo conceded by defender Gabriel Paletta after a foul on forward Andrea Belotti. It is forward Paulo Dybala to take the penalty spot.. and there you go…. Dybala converting the penalty with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. This is the 13th goal by Dybala this season. Way to go.. Palermo equalizing.

A blow for Palermo! In the 83rd minute AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez crushing Palermo delivering the winner goal with a right footed shot in the top left corner. And now my friends, it seems coach Filippo Inzaghi can breathe and should be thanking Menez for this important victory. Menez scoring his 16th goal this season.
