Inter is set to compete in a sprint race after winning the Serie A Week 30 match on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.  Inter has reached a total of 67 points, now 6 points ahead of Napoli, who are set to face Milan soon. Inter took an early advantage in the 12th minute when Marko Arnautovic found the net with a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner. Federico Dimarco provided the assist. The home team is in front.  A play initiated and completed by the Austrian forward, with Dimarco setting him up for the winning goal.

In the 29th minute, Davide Fratesi found the back of the net with a right-footed shot aimed at the bottom right corner, thanks to an assist from Federico Dimarco. The home team extended their advantage, replicating the first goal as Dimarco set up Frattesi once again for another precise right-footed strike.

In the 71st minute, Udinese closed the gap. Oumar Solet found the back of the net with a right-footed strike aimed at the top left corner. This goal reignited the match for Udinese. Solet made his way to the edge of the box and skillfully defeated goalkeeper Yann Sommer with a well-placed shot into the corner.

Inter has triumphed in their last four Serie A encounters with Udinese and is on the verge of matching their record of five straight wins against the Friulians.  A feat they have achieved three times in the league (from 1993 to 1996, 2008 to 2010, and 2015 to 2017).

Inter has also secured victories in their last six home games against Udinese in Serie A, boasting an impressive aggregate score of 16-2. This marks a new record for consecutive home wins for the Nerazzurri against the Bianconeri in the league. The last time Udinese celebrated a league win at the Meazza was on December 16, 2017, when they defeated Inter 3-1, with goals from Kevin Lasagna, Rodrigo De Paul, and Antonín Barák, while Mauro Icardi netted for the home side.

Inter has achieved victories in their last four matches across all competitions.  This marks their best run since December 2024 to January 2025, when they won five consecutive games, including a 2-0 triumph over Udinese at the Meazza on December 19 in the Coppa Italia. With 64 points from 29 matches in this Serie A season, Inter has reached this milestone for the third time in four seasons under Simone Inzaghi’s management. This follows previous tallies of 60 points in 2021/22 and 76 points last season. Remarkably, they have matched the number of times they reached 60 or more points in the first 29 games over the last 12 seasons (60 in 2009/10, 64 in 2019/20, and 71 in 2020/21).

Udinese has gathered 40 points after 29 matchdays in this Serie A season. The last time they surpassed this mark after 30 games was in the 2012/13 season, when they finished with 42 points and ended the season in fifth place.
