Genoa crushed Torino at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. A demolishing machine destroying Torino’s dream to reach Europa League next season.
It was like raining goals at the Ferraris. The first goal following a fast break in the 18th minute with Genoa forward Iago Falque defeating Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist by forward Marco Borriello.
Temporary relief for Torino in the 61st minute when midfielder Omar El Kaddouri equalized with a direct right footed kick in the bottom right corner.
Genoa immediately taking the lead again in the 69th minute with midfielder Tino Costa also from a free kick defeating goalkeeper Padelli with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner.
The rest is history…. in the 87th minute bam! The goal by midfielder Andrea Bertolacci leaving goalkeeper Padelli frustrated as the ball reaches the bottom right corner. The assist is by forward Leonardo Pavoletti
Torino already losing hope and ending the match in such a bad way conceding 2 more goals in the agonizing minutes… 92nd minute the goal by Pavoletti and three minutes later the final dagger in the 95th minute with the goal by Tino Costa….
