BARESI AND SHAVE YOUR STYLE

MILAN – Braun and the Milan Foundation have joined forces as part of a project for young people aimed at making them more aware of the importance of respect towards others and the styles that characterise them, where style is not only an aesthetic code but also a way of life, of being and of presenting oneself. The project is called Shave your style #rispettailmiostile and it also calls upon the participation and support of famous figures from AC Milan. After Paolo Maldini, the latest to play his part is none other than another legendary club captain: Franco Baresi. The Italian will in fact be at the Trony Building in via Torino, Milan at 18.00 on Thursday the 17th of December to lend his support to the Shave your style #rispettailmiostile project. The former Milan captain will talk about his experiences of respect from his life and out on the playing field and how respect towards different styles, talents, race and teams is the starting point for a positive form of leadership. At the end of the meeting, Franco Baresi will also be on hand to sign autographs, pose for photos and to interact with all those present. The involvement of a figure like Franco Baresi, with all his experience on and off the field, is a real boost to the Shave your style #rispettailmiostile project and embodies the perfect role model for young people.Often and all too frequently, young people are the culprits or victims of physical and psychological violence caused by the lack of respect or from prejudice towards others who may have a different style. The Shave your style #rispettailmiostile is a campaign that involves teachers, students and coaches from the Soccer Schools with the aim of reaching out to thousands of young people. The idea is to promote mutual respect and to make these young people appreciate the style that distinguishes others, a necessary part of life for social integration both in the workplace but also in school and on the field of play.Through Shave your style #rispettailmiostile, Braun hopes to donate 100.000 euro through offers, the aid of consumers on social media and an initiative in shops that started on October 15th 2014 and runs through to 30th June 2015. For every Braun shaver bought, Braun will donate 1 euro.Even fans of the Italian P&G Facebook page can contribute to the project. All that is needed is to share the video that P&G will post on the page by using the hashtag #rispettailmiostile on the social media. For every share, Braun will make a donation to the Milan Foundation.
