Lazio failed to win the Champions League Group Stage Matchday 3 game on Wednesday 25 October 2023 at De Kuip in Rotterdam, Netherlands.   The victory sees Feyenoord in the 1st position with 6 points, Atletico Madrid in the 2nd with 5 points, and Lazio in the 3rd with 4 points, and Celtic in the last position with just 1 point. Mexican player Santiago Giménez became a nightmare for Lazio scoring on his debut in Europe’s top club competition to become the second Mexican player to do so after Edson Alvarez for Ajax against Lille in 2019. Giménez scored a brace!

Lazio battled but the shots from Mattia Zaccagni and Manuel Lazzari were saved by Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow.

Not a good start. Feyenoord opened the score in the 31st minute. Santiago Giménez defeated Lazio goalkeeper Provedel with a left-footed shot o the bottom left corner. The assist is by Mats Wieffer.
