Youth academy weekend preview

While the Primavera’s season is at an end, the other three sides are all in action over the coming days

Following last weekend’s 2-1 playoff quarter-final defeat at the hands of Palermo, the Primavera’s season is now at an end.

The Bianconeri young guns will now use the summer break to recharge their batteries and ensure they are in peak physical condition for next year’s league campaign.

Elsewhere, the Allievi Nazionali are involved in the Torneo Ale&Ricky Castelfiorentino over the weekend.

The tournament, which is held in memory of Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri who tragically died on 15 December 2006, sees Juventus face off against Empoli and Roma, with the semi-finals and final set for Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Allievi B Nazionali are currently making their way to Spain for the second edition of the Memorial Luis Aragones.

Davide Cei’s charges join Atletico Madrid, Milan, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, Polish Soccer Skills and Alcobendas in the competition.

And finally, the Giovanissimi Nazionali welcome Napoli to Vinovo for a last 16 first leg clash on Sunday morning.

Claudio Gabetta’s side navigated a safe passage to this stage of the contest after brushing Ternana aside 7-0 over two legs.
