✅ Stats before the game. Juventus could be eliminated for the fifth consecutive European knockout stage in as many seasons. Prior to this run, which began in 2018-19 against Ajax in the Champions League, they had never been eliminated from more than two consecutive European knockout ties in major competitions. Juventus have lost their last two European away games against French opponents (Lyon in 2020 and PSG in 2022), already the longest away losing streak against teams from this country. Nantes have conceded goals in all of their last 10 home games in European competitions: the last clean sheet came against an Italian team, 1-0 in the first group stage of the Champions League against Lazio in 2001/02. Juventus have won just one of their last nine matches in Europe (D2 L6), conceding an average of two goals per game over this period. They have lost all of their last three away games in European competition and have not reached four in a row since October 2001 and March 2002.
