Switzerland  win the UEFA Euro 2020 Group A Matchday 3 defeating Turkey at Baku’s Olympic Stadium on Sunday 20 June 2021.   The defeat is double painful for Turkey because they are eliminated.

  • Sassuolo defender Kaan Ayhan (Turkey)replaced in the 63rd minute by Okay Yokuslu
  • Juventus defender Merih Demiral (Turkey) played all game
  • Sassuolo defender Mert Muldur (Turkey) played all game
  • AC Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Turkey) got a yellow card in the 70th minute, and replaced by Dorukhan Toköz in the 86th minute.
  • Torino defender Ricardo Rodríguez  (Switzerland) played all game
  • Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler (Switzerland) played all game

Switzerland opening the score in the 6th minute. Haris Seferovic defeating Turkey goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir with a left footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Steven Zuber.

Turkey conceding another goal in the 26th minute.

Turkey shortening the distance for the 2-1 in the 62nd minute. Irfan Can Kahveci defeating Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer with a left footed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by AC Milan forward Hakan Calhanoglu.

Switzerland reacting and six minutes later in the 68th minute Xherdan Shaqiri scores for the 3-1.
