UEFA announcing the match officials for the Champions League Semifinal First Leg game, Juventus vs Real Madrid on Tuesday 5 May 2015 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy at 20:45. It is English Referee Martin Atkinson to direct the game. Atkinson will be assisted by referees Michael Mullarkey and Stephen Child, goal-line officials Anthony Taylor and Andre Marriner and fourth official Peter Kirkup.
- Atkinson, 44 years old, will officiate his third European fixture involving Juventus, with the club’s record under his tutelage showing stats of one victory and a draw. While previously presiding over a 2-2 Champions League stalemate with BATE Borisov in 2008, Atkinson, who hails from Bradford, also took charge of November’s 3-2 Group A success over Olympiacos.
