- – Buffon made four saves against Costa Rica: only three times has he had more saves in a World Cup game (the last in 2006 vs Czech Republic).
It’s a great accomplishment for Gigi Buffon who is also participating in his Fifth World Cup. Buffon currently plays with Juventus also as Captain.
