👉🏆🇮🇹    Inter won the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Semifinal game on Wednesday 26 April 2023 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.  The match was decided by Federico Dimarco, who scored in the first half with an assist from Barella. The victory guaranteed Inter the pass to the Coppa Italia Final on May 24 in Rome. The aggregate result is Inter 2 – 1 Juventus. Surely, this is a big accomplishment for Inter and a total flop for Juventus.   Inter ruling the Derby d’Italia.

The other semi-final second leg of the Coppa Italia, Fiorentina-Cremonese, is scheduled for tomorrow 27 April at 21. The Viola will restart from the 2-0 lead they won in the first leg.

Inter opened the score in the 15th minute. Federico Dimarco defeated Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Nicolò Barella.

Stats before the game: Inter have remained unbeaten in 11 of their last 13 matches against Juventus in the Italian Cup (W5, D6), the two Juventus successes in the period, however, both reached the semifinals (January 2016 and February 2021).  Inter did not score in their last home match against Juventus in all competitions (0-1 in the league on 19 March), Juventus could get two clean sheets away from home in a row against Inter for the first time in the period between 1981 and 1983 (three in that case).  Juventus have always made it through in the five Coppa Italia semi-finals played against Inter (in the 1937/38, 1982/83, 2003/04, 2015/16 and 2020/21 seasons) .  Juventus remained unbeaten in nine of these 10 challenges (4W, 5D).  Inter could reach the final of the Coppa Italia in two consecutive seasons for the first time since the two-year period 2009/10 – 2010/11.  Juventus have reached the final in seven of the last eight editions of the Coppa Italia, in the period only in 2019/20 did they not reach the last game of the season in the tournament.  Juventus could reach the Coppa Italia final for the fourth season in a row, so far only three teams have managed it: Juventus itself (between 2014/15 and 2017/18) plus Inter Milan and Roma (both between 2004/18). 05 and 2007/08).
