Colombia and Venezuela ended the game with  a goalless draw on Thursday 17 June 2021 at the Estádio Olímpico Pedro Ludovico — Goiânia, Brazil.   Colombia failing to break Venezuela’s wall despite having 17 shot on goal compared to Venezuela with 1 shot.  Goalkeepers from Colombia (Napoli) David Ospina and Wuilker Farinez becoming the hero for Venezuela stopping Colombia every chance to score.   On Matchday 1, Colombia defeated Ecuador with a 1-0.    The draw sees Colombia reaching 4 points to the top of Group B.   Venezuela with just 1 point and still with chances to pas to the next round because four of the five teams in each group qualify for the knock-out stages.
