Crystal Palace achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new club record as they kicked off their Conference League journey on Matchday 1 with a 2-0 victory against Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev at the Motor Lublin Arena in Poland on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Daniel Muñoz made history by scoring Palace's first-ever away goal in Europe during the 31st minute. He outmaneuvered Dynamo goalkeeper Dean Henderson with a header from the center of the box into the top left corner, thanks to a cross from Yéremy Pino.
In the second half, substitute Eddie Nketiah added to the scoreline in the 58th minute. Nketiah found the net with a right-footed shot from very close range to the center of the goal, also assisted by Yéremy Pino's cross. This victory extended Palace's unbeaten streak to 19 matches.
This marks their longest-ever run without a defeat, a record they maintained even after Borna Sosa received a red card in the final 30 minutes for two bookings within three minutes.
