Arsenal triumphed over Olympiacos in the UEFA Champions League, League Phase, Matchday 2, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Emirates Stadium. This marked Arsenal's second 2-0 victory in Europe this season. It was also the 13th encounter with Olympiacos in the last 16 years. Gabriel Martinelli netted our first goal after a strong, determined run from Viktor Gyokeres. Martinelli finished with a left-footed shot from very close range into the bottom left corner. The second goal came from Bukayo Saka, securing three crucial points in the 92nd minute. Saka scored with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box into the bottom left corner, assisted by Martin Ødegaard's through ball. In between the goals, David Raya made an incredible save to thwart Daniel Podence.
