What a disappointing day for Atalanta! Borussia Dortmund triumphed in the UEFA Champions League Knockout Playoffs on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund. Atalanta struggled to make an impact, succumbing to Borussia Dortmund. The Germans took the lead early with a goal from Guirassy, who was set up in the center by Ryerson's cross. Atalanta tried to mount a comeback but conceded a second goal from Beier just before halftime. In the second half, despite the substitutions of Nikola Krstovic, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Raoul Bellanova, and Lazar Samardzic, Atalanta failed to create significant chances to challenge goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
