AC Milan secured a win against Bari on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. The match marked the celebration of Massimiliano Allegri's return after 11 years, with a 2-0 scoreline in favor of AC Milan in the Coppa Italia Round of 32. Debuting players included Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupinan, Luka Modric, and Ardon Jashari.

Maximiliano, even after the disqualification, was still in the stands. His assistant, Marco Landucci, was sitting on the bench because of a suspension he received during the 2024 final, which the Bianconeri won against Atalanta.

The only unfortunate news of the evening was Leao's injury, which caused him to leave the game due to a right calf issue. His condition will be assessed in the next few hours.

New signings Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari made their debut by coming off the bench at the 66th minute. Jashari took the place of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, while Modric substituted for Samuele Ricci. The fans greeted them with applause.

AC Milan gained the advantage in the 14th minute. Portuguese striker Rafael Leão netted a header from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, thanks to a cross from Fikayo Tomori.



The second goal came in the 48th minute. Captain America, Christian Pulisic, found the net with a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the center of the goal. He was assisted by Santiago "El Bebote" Giménez.
