Benevento Calcio announces that it has reached an agreement with Cagliari Calcio for the permanent transfer of the Moldovan midfielder Artur Ionita.  Benevento and Ionita signed a contract until 30 June 2023.

Surely, Ionita will give an added boost to Benevento who were promoted from the Serie B to the Serie A this 2020-2021 Season.

The player Artur Ionita, a native of Chisinau, arrives in Sannio after the last four seasons at the court of the Sardinian club (132/6). Arrived in Italy at Hellas Verona from the Swiss Aarau (142/16), he has scored 174 appearances, 12 goals and 11 assists in six seasons (in the top flight). With the national team of his country, of which he is also the captain, 45 appearances and 3 signatures.
