The most recent international in the city was a 1-1 draw with Spain on 24th March. The only previous encounter with Liechtenstein was two months ago in Vaduz as the Azzurri triumphed 4-0.
 
Italy vs. Israel – After hosting the last Women’s Champions League final, the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia will host the match against Israel on 5th September three days after the crucial match away in Spain. Italy have met Israel four times prior (three wins and one draw) and it will be the second international match in Reggio Emilia’s history. The only previous Italy match there was in November 1995 as the Azzurri won 4-0 against Lithuania with a Gianfranco Zola hat-trick and an Alessandro Del Piero goal in a European Championship qualifier.
