Fitness tests for the 32 Azzurri yesterday in the morning. Bertelli: “They are in good condition“

Team manager Gabriele Oriale talked about the importance and aims of the training camp, which will set the squad up for the qualifier against Croatia (12th June) in Split and for the friendly against Switzerland (16th June) in Geneva: “We are all focused on the game against Croatia. This is a though game against one of the best teams in Europe. We saw how Croatia played in Milan, when they were better than us, we have to admit. We will play in a surreal atmosphere (behind closed doors following UEFA’s decision). We hope it will be an advantage for us but we should not forget that in the table behind us, there are other teams, which are putting pressure on us. We need maximum concentration”.

Oriali sent a message to Juventus, who are are playing in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday: “Congratulations to Juventus for the season, there is one thing remaining: they have achieved excellent results and now they must be ready for the next challenge. I wish them the best of luck.” He also talked about Parma for the “proud and the competence they showed throughout the season“. Training Camp in Coverciano 1st/4th June 2015 Wednesday 3rd June 2015
