Italy vs. France on Thursday 1st September at 21:00 CET will kick off the series of glamorous friendlies a few days before the qualifying campaign is scheduled to begin four days later in Israel. Among other things, the match against Italy’s neighbours will mark the debut of the new coach who is to replace Antonio Conte on the bench after the European Championship. After World Cup qualifiers on Thursday 6th October with Macedonia, Sunday 9th October against Spain and a third competitive fixture on Wednesday 12th November with Liechtenstein, the Azzurri are scheduled for another classic fixture with world champions Germany. The friendly will be held on Tuesday 15th November at 20:45 CET in a rematch of the Azzurri’s most recent friendly appearance on Tuesday 29th March at Munich’s Allianz Arena. While the Azzurri fans eagerly anticipate these exciting fixtures, the FIGC is carefully evaluating which stadiums will host the matches and the venues will be announced shortly.

The schedule of friendlies which have already been announced will come to a close on Tuesday 28th March 2017 when Italy take on the Netherlands at the Amsterdam ArenA at 20:45 CET, four days after a World Cup qualifier with Albania.
