Sassuolo triumphed in their second test match of the season against Trento, a team from Serie C. The game took place on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Ronzone. Their next match will be a triangular tournament at the Druso in Bolzano, set for Saturday, July 26th.
The match saw an early breakthrough in the 6th minute. Volpato delivered a perfect cross from the left to Missori, who skillfully executed an overhead kick past Barlocco. This goal marked the opening score of the match. Just four minutes later, in the 10th minute, Volpato’s cross found Pinamonti’s head, but his attempt was thwarted by the Trento goalkeeper.

In the 15th minute, Trento tried to challenge Turati, first with a cross-field shot from Pellegrini that narrowly missed, and then with a shot from the edge of the box by Fossati, which was deflected for a corner by the Neroverdi goalkeeper.
During the second half, Sassuolo had the first opportunity: in the 51st minute, Berardi received the ball in the box, controlled it well, and took a shot with his left foot, which was saved for a corner by Tommasi. From that corner, Sassuolo extended their lead with a tap-in from Muharemovic right in front of the goal. Sassuolo’s third goal came in the 59th minute, as Berardi provided a perfect cross for Boloca, who headed it past Tommasi.
In the 71st minute, Trento once again came close to scoring against Sassuolo. Mayr received the ball in the box and attempted a precise shot, but it went just to the right of Satalino.
