The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Maurizio Mariani from the section of Aprilia to direct the Serie A Week 1 game, Sassuolo vs Inter on Sunday 19 August 2018 at the Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo, Italy at 20:30.
Referee Mariani will be assisted by Ciro Carbone from the section of Napoli and Sergio Ranghetti from the section of Chiari. The fourth officiall will be Di Paolo from the section of Avezzano. The VAR will be Paolo Valeri from the section of Roma 2 and the AVAR will be Stefano Del Giovane from the section of Albano Laziale.
