Inter won the friendly match against Monza on penalties on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the U-Power Stadium in Monza. Inter is participating in their third pre-season friendly. The two teams are meeting again following Inter’s 3-2 win in the previous Serie A season.
The match concluded with a score of 2-2 after 90 minutes and was subsequently resolved through a penalty shootout. Inter emerged victorious, demonstrating remarkable composure during the penalty kicks, complemented by a crucial save from Martinez.
For Monza, this match serves as their last preparation before the Coppa Italia clash on Sunday, August 17, against Frosinone, as well as their Serie B season opener against Mantova.
Inter will carry on with their pre-season schedule with a game at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari against Olympiacos on Saturday, August 16. They will kick off their Serie A season against Torino at San Siro on Monday, August 25.
