Congratulations to Inter forward Lautaro Martinez for becoming the “2024 Copa America Top Scorer” with 5 goals. Lautaro, without a doubt, was a decisive player giving Argentina the victory on Sunday 14 July 2024 against Colombia at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Argentina won the Copa America 2024 which is their second consecutive continental trophy reaching a record-breaking 16th title. (Argentina 1 – 0 Colombia)
- Lautaro entered in the 97th minute. The glorious moment arrived in the 112th minute with Lautaro scoring from a pass by Giovani Lo Celso after AS Roma defender Leandro Paredes stripped the ball from a Colombian player with a sliding tackle near the center. Lautaro scored with a right-footed shot. You bet, that goal, was celebrated not only by Argentina fans, but also by Inter fans!
✅ Definitely, Lautaro ended a perfect season because he was also the best Serie A scorer in 2023-24 with 24 goals helping Inter winning the 20th Scudetto in their history.
Congratulations, Lautaro, and a standing ovation!
