Sweden starting their adventure with a victory winning the FIFA World Cup First Stage Group F game on Monday 18 June, 2018 at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. One goal was enough to claim all three points. Andreas Granqvist scored the goal in the 65th converting a penalty after it was awarded by the video assistant referee (VAR). Korea remain empty handed and the challenge for the second game is a tough one: Korea vs Mexico and Germany vs Sweden.
