The youth team drew 2-2 away at Perugia on Friday.
MILAN – The youth sector league match between Perugia-Milan ended 2-2 on Friday.
The rossoneri made a dream start to the match and on 17 minutes broke the deadlock through Di Molfetta after the Italian was quickest to pounce on a loose ball that had come off the cross-bar. The home side managed to find an equaliser just six minutes later when Musto kept his cool when one-on-one with Livieri to slot the ball into the back of the net. Moments before the first half whistle Giovanni Crociata was agonizingly close to restoring Milan’s lead with a beautifully struck free-kick.
Milan did eventually go back in front shortly after the restart and on 50 minutes Calabria’s long range strike, which took a deflection off a Perugia defender, made it 2-1 to Milan. Despite dominating, Milan were unable to seal the win and Hyseni scored an equaliser after a counter-attack in the 90th minute of the match.
