The President is as committed as ever in taking Milan back to the top.

MILAN – The day after Milan’s defeat at Sassuolo, the club president Silvio Berlusconi visited the Stella Female Milan Club in Saronno. After his visit, he took the chance to say the following on a range of themes surrounding the club:
“Milan’s history is fantastic and it has made Milan, along with Real Madrid, the most decorated club in the world. In my near 30 years at the helm, we’ve achieved incredible success and Milan has become something of a brand for Italy. From research, I’ve been able to see that the Milan brand is very strong in China and in other countries in the far east. We have around 350 million fans across the world. Football now however requires investments that my family, on its own, cannot match with the objective of taking Milan back to the top in Italy, Europe and the world. I hope to identify possible backers in this sense. Otherwise, I will remain as President with the idea of creating a totally Italian Milan, an Italian national side. The offers? There are several, we are evaluating one by one. With calm and prudence. We must find the right people that can carry through the commitments that they take on.”
More from the President: “Transfer market? It has to remain secret, otherwise if I mention names the price will treble. The transfer market is an issue to resolve with some immediate investment, we are thinking about what to do. Inzaghi? He has an excellent relationship with the squad, we have had different views on some occasions.”
