MILAN – A friendly smile and with a Milan scarf around his neck. This is how Pablo Armero presented himself to the Milan fans on Monday at Milan-Malpensa Airport. The Colombia international underwent medical tests on Tuesday and will have more on Wednesday.
These were his first words to the Milan Channel: "I arrive in a great team, I want to find space here and do well. Yepes and Zapata? Yes, I spoke to some friends like Mario and Cristian and they spoke well about Milan. We’ll work hard to do well for the fans who deserve it. I’ve spoken to coach Inzaghi, he was a footballer who loved to win, he wants to do so as a coach. He’s said I have to work with intensity to give my all and give everything to become a first team regular. After the World Cup I rested, I’ve been with my family and friends. Now I have to think about training and giving my best to make myself ready when I’m called up for the cause. First I’ll think about winning the match, then I’ll think about the celebration dance. I’m only thinking about working to do well and earning a place here, then the coach will say who plays."
