VINTAGE DERBY

MILAN – The second edition of the Vintage Derby Milan-Inter, dedicated to the memory of Claudio Lippi, was played on Saturday the 11th of October at the Comunale Pastrengo in Segrate, on the same pitch where Claudio played as a lad for AC Segrate. The pitch is made of natural grass and the stadium has a capacity of 1500 people. The role and collaboration of the Segrate Milan Club was also very important.The club’s Milan Channel followed the events live from the pitch at Segrate from 15.30 to 17.00.This year the playing shirts were the same style as the ones worn in the 1940s. Inter played with the classic black and blue stripes and Milan in white with a horizontal red and black band. The rossoneri took the lead thanks to current First Team assistant coach Mauro Tassotti with coach Filippo Inzaghi providing the assist. Milan technical coach Nicola Matteucci then doubled the lead for the rossoneri. Inter cut the gap from the penalty spot through Evaristo Beccalossi.
