MILAN – On Saturday morning AC Milan confirmed the permanent transfer of Suso from Liverpool FC with an official statement on the website in the breaking news section: “AC Milan would like to communicate the signing of Suso from Liverpool FC on a permanent transfer. Suso has signed a contract with AC Milan until the 30th of June 2019.”

The English club meanwhile also confirmed the transfer and thanked the Spaniard for his service to the club.

On Monday meanwhile, Jesus Fernandez Saez, known as Suso, landed at Malpensa Airport. Click here to see a photo of his arrival from the club’s official twitter account. Suso has since chosen the no. 8 jersey because it was also his shirt number when he won the Under-19 European Championships with Spain in 2012. Suso then visited the club’s headquarters Casa Milan.
