MILAN – Following Wednesday’s afternoon training session, and the visit of joint CEO Barbara Berlusconi, the players continued with derby-day preparations on Thursday at Milanello.

With the exception of coach Inzaghi and a selection of first team players, who were at the Audi-AC Milan event in the heart of the city, the squad trained out on the central pitch at Milanello from midday. Assistant coach Mauro Tassotti took charge of the session which started with a warm-up.

Following the warm-up, which included fitness drills, running and exercises for the upper and lower limbs, the squad focused on tactics and in particular dead ball and defensive situations.

Individuals: Honda, Menez and Cerci, after the work on set pieces, finished Thursday’s training session in the gym as scheduled.

On Friday, the players will train at 11.30 and continue with preparations for Sunday’s derby.
