MILAN- This is what was said by the players and the coaching staff after Cagliari-Milan on Wednesday: 
ADIL RAMI"I’m happy for my goal-line block, for us defenders it’s nearly like a goal! We come away with a point and it’s good as here at Cagliari it’s hard. I didn’t know of Ibarbo, he’s very fast, he’s a very good player along with Sau and Cossu, it was hard with them for us at the back. We played against a tough opponent today. We have to win with Palermo, it’s vital. But we’ve seen the results of the other teams and we’re third. We haven’t lost away from home this season, we’re third and we’ve lost just one match, with Juventus. I’ve seen one or two goals like Bonaventura’s in my career, a really splendid goal. Congratulations. El Shaarawy helps us out a lot, without sacrifice we cannot win, he was very good in the defensive phase."

GIACOMO BONAVENTURA"I saw that the goalie was slightly off his line, I tried to play a ball in the box for the forwards and it went in. I’m happy about this. It wasn’t easy to play against this Cagliari side. I tried to do what the coach asked of me, I believe I had a good match, but we have to improve in terms of the performance. Cagliari played very well tonight, if they play like this they will make it hard for many sides. We’re third in the league table, let’s continue to work and go forward like this. Luckily we have a home match on Sunday, we want the 3 points, we want to win because we’ve drawn 2 matches and we would like to do more. We can do better, but we cannot get down. In the end I played in midfield, I was happy there, I didn’t have any problems. You can always do better, but I am happy with how it went. I have to improve with my runs. I will continue to work and make my qualities available to the team. Palermo are a side that will come to the San Siro with the desire to do well, these matches are prepared with the utmost attention and you give 110%. We cannot arrive unprepared."

COACH FILIPPO INZAGHI (Press Conference)"Cagliari had the advantage of having played on Saturday, whereas we came-off the back of a tough match on Sunday. We could have even lost today, we take home an important point for the league table, we’re in third place. Honda did well, he worked tirelessly, he had a good game like the rest of the squad, the pitch was difficult, very hard. There are many sides in Serie A that struggle more than us. We could have done more, but as of Sunday we will already have the chance to collect important points. It won’t be easy for anybody to win here."
GIACOMO BONAVENTURA (Press Conference)"I was lucky, but they are things that happen over the course of a career. I’m happy, I went for it, it paid off, I tried to play the ball in the area and I found the back of the net. Cagliari are a very organised side, they play well. It wasn’t a brilliant performance by us, but credit to the others that did well, we picked up a point, but we have to do more. Winning today against Cagliari would have been difficult for anybody, as they had an excellent match. We suffered in the first-half, we tried to control the match, but their forwards put us in difficulty and forced us back in defence, which is not what we want."
