POST-MATCH REACTION

MILAN- The post-match reaction following the Round 20 Serie A match between Lazio-Milan:
FILIPPO INZAGHI (press conference)"We suffered in the first half. It’s a moment in which everything is that more difficult. I say that luckily we play Lazio again on Tuesday as it gives us the chance to bounce back. The players all gave the best that they had. We have to come up with solutions, we have to think about offering something different because what we’re doing isn’t enough. The squad aren’t afraid, but in the difficult moments some insecurities creep in. We have to improve as soon as possible and have to find something different in the way we play. I haven’t had the chance to speak to the management, but the fact that we’re going to stay together until Tuesday I think can help. Philippe was the first to apologise."
PHILIPPE MEXES"I have to apologise to the club, the coach and my family. It was the wrong reaction and I am sorry because I left the team in ten-men and I will be suspended. Unfortunately I made a mistake, in my career I have had these reactions. These things should not happen out on a football pitch. We played well in the first half, even if we were slightly at risk. We were compact, it was all perfect and then they scored. We play them again in 3 days and have to bounce back. We’re all close and with the coach. We will try and resolve this situation which isn’t nice and to do so we have to win and not have reactions like mine tonight. Every match has to be like a final and the one on Tuesday even more so as we have to get back on track."
