MILAN PROGRESS IN CUP

MILAN – The club’s youth sector side, the Primavera defeated Sassuolo 2-0 at the Vismara Training Centre in the second round of the Youth Tim Cup.
Cristian Brocchi's side went into the break 1-0 up. An even encounter was broken on 35 minutes when Fabbro who followed up Cutrone's shot to score.
Hachim Mastour produced a piece of magic on the hour mark to double the advantage when he scored a wonderful solo goal. It was an even first half where Mastalli almost put the Rossoneri ahead and the visitors had a goal disallowed until Fabbro made the breakthrough on 35 minutes. Milan started strongly in the second half as they looked to tightened their grip on the tie and it was the impressive Mastour who obliged.
The same player then continued to run the show and saw a shot just clear the bar while Fabbro hit the bar with a header late on.
