MILAN – After 6 months out with a serious injury, Riccardo Montolivo made his first appearance this season in the final minutes of Milan-Udinese on the 30th of November in a 2-0 win for the rossoneri at the San Siro. He made his first start away to Genoa, before another first team start against Napoli in what was also a 2-0 win at the San Siro for Milan.The skipper had a minor injury setback in January, but after a month on the sidelines he was back on Sunday against Cesena inspiring his team to victory, playing with heart and leading by example. Curiously, the result was also 2-0 in favour of Milan, just like the wins against Udinese and Napoli in which the skipper featured.Welcome back captain!
