MILAN – Following a medical on Monday afternoon, Jose Mauri headed straight to the club’s HQ Casa Milan where he signed a contract in CEO Adriano Galliani’s office that ties him to the club until the 30th of June, 2019.The midfielder, born on the 16th of May 1996 in Argentina, came through the Parma youth ranks after a spell with Ferro Carril Oeste in Argentina. At Parma last season he made 31 appearances in Serie A and scored 2 goals.Reflecting on his move to the rossoneri, these were his thoughts to the Milan Channel: “I feel really good, it’s certainly a small satisfaction, but it’s not yet complete seeing as this shirt that I am wearing now is just the one for training. When I wear the real one, I will tell you the feelings that I have. I always want to play, never-mind for Milan! I am very happy and eager to play. I had already decided and the phone call from [Adriano] Galliani convinced me even more. I am expecting some tough training sessions. I have spoken with Gabriel Paletta (team-mates together at Parma, editor’s note) and he told me that training sessions are not that easy. I also spoke to him in January, he’s a friend. He has spoken really well about Milan.”
