MILAN – The Milan Junior Camp Day, the weekend event which marks the start of the Milan summer soccer camp season, has come to an end. The children enjoyed 2 action packed days at the Vismara Sports Centre, the home of the AC Milan Youth Sector, full of fun, football and friendships. There were children from all over the world, bringing together a mixture of different languages and cultures but all united by their passion for the beautiful game and the rossoneri colours.
The club’s CEO Adriano Galliani was also on hand and remarked how impressed he was with their commitment and for their support during Milan-Cagliari on Saturday night at the San Siro. Galliani also took the time to sign everyone’s shirt. These were the comments from the CEO: "It was brilliant to hear the children cheer us on during Saturday’s match between Milan-Cagliari. It was a wonderful thing, it’s good for football to highlight the nice things and not the usual things. Let’s enjoy this peaceful Sunday, a serenity that is definitely down to the win last night but above all to the presence of these 400 kids and 800 parents that have decided to invest their time in this project. They’re here at their own cost, from 33 countries, even from Peru, and they are showing an extraordinary affection towards the rossoneri colours. This is all really pleasing to someone like me that also loved football as a boy."
