MILAN - The Milan youth sector team, the Primavera, ran out 4-1 winners on Saturday morning in their league fixture at home to Virtus Lanciano.Milan made a bright start to the match and managed to break the deadlock after only 6 minutes of play. Vassallo was on the score-sheet with a right foot strike. The rossoneri didn’t take their foot off the gas and went in search of a second goal which very nearly came on 24 minutes. However, Fabbro was unable to turn in Felicioli’s cross at the near post and the chance went begging.Fabbro was involved again on the cusp of half time, hitting the post, and then from the rebound Di Molfetta was desperately unlucky to also hit the woodwork with a curling effort.Milan’s efforts did eventually pay off and three minutes after the restart Felicioli doubled Milan’s lead with a left foot effort from distance. De Santis made it 3-0 shortly after heading home a corner while Mastour then won a penalty for the rossoneri. Di Molfetta made no mistakes from the penalty spot to open up a four goal cushion.Carpentieri did score a late consolation goal for the away side, but the day belonged to Brocchi’s Milan who ran out 4-1 winners.
